Rolf Michael Gerner

In Spring of 2003 Rolf Michael Gerner founded Gerner & Coll. GmbH & Co. KG, now Gerner Vantage Group. From 2001 until 2002 he was Co-Head Investment Banking Germany at Lehman Brothers in Frankfurt. Prior to that he was Managing Director at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ), starting and building up their activities in Germany out of Frankfurt. From 1994 until 1999 he worked in Corporate Finance at Morgan Stanley, and was responsible for Automotive/Capital Goods. Rolf Michael Gerner started his career in 1986 with Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) in Frankfurt and London, first in Equity Research and from 1990 onwards in the M&A department. Rolf Michael Gerner holds a degree in Economics and Finance from Frankfurt University. He was born in Buenos Aires in 1962. He is married and father of three children.



Dr. Maximilian H. Grafmüller

In Spring of 2003 Dr. Grafmüller co-founded Vantage Advisors Ltd. in London, now Gerner Vantage Group. Prior to that he worked at the Investmentbank Lehman Brothers in M&A and Corporate Finance Advisory in New York, Frankfurt, and London. From 1993-1997 Dr. Grafmüller worked at Volkswagen AG directly for Dr. José Ignacio López de Arriortúa. Dr. Grafmüller started his career in the automotive industry in 1991 with positions at Daimler Benz AG and General Motors. Dr. Grafmüller studied Business Administration and received a PhD in Business Administration (Dr. rer. pol.) from University of Hanover. He also received a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering (Dipl.-Ing.) from the Technical University of Darmstadt. He was rewarded with the German University Price for Purchasing in 1990 and is author of several books published at Gabler, Campus, etc.



Volker Werner

Volker Werner is Partner at Gerner & Coll., now Gerner Vantage Group, since 2003, Mr. Werner started his career in 1997 in the M&A department of the investment bank NM Rothschild & Sons with focus on the automotive and capital goods sector. In 2000 he changed to the Frankfurt office of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ). After the merger of DLJ and Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) in November 2000 the entire Frankfurt team of DLJ joined Lehman Brothers, where Mr. Werner was primarily active in the Frankfurt and London offices. Mr. Werner graduated in Finance at Goethe University in Frankfurt. He was born in 1972, is married and father of two children. From 1991 to 1993 made an apprenticeship with DG Bank in Frankfurt and is a certified banker. After his apprenticeship he worked in the Frankfurt, New York and Hong Kong office of DG Bank.
